Rayz Roadshow.

On Friday we were lucky to have Ray Cooper, coming to entertain us, with his puppets and magic tricks. It was a wonderful adventure and guaranteed to make you laugh!

We learnt rules in cool, funny ways and we also met Jeremy and Grandpa two favourite puppets. Most importantly of all, we learnt that rules are cool! If there were no rules someone could be playing rugby and they could pick up the ball and run back to their house and keep it. We have rules because it keeps everybody safe.

Some children were lucky to experience the art of the puppeteer in a workshop Ray held after the show. They acted out their feelings with each other and with puppets. They also found out some of his secrets and tricks.

Hihi Hullabalo

St Johns Hill School are proud to help sponsor the Hihi recovery programe at Bushy Park, leading to raising a total of $546.50!

Kaia  and Ella (two Year Five pupils), came up with the idea of sponsoring the endangered Hihi.

The girls started a coin trail asking everyone to bring a coin and place them on a painted Hihi picture, outside the hall. It was a huge success.

It is great that St Johns Hill School is involved in sustainable action!
